Maps & Information for the Annual Meeting To register for the annual meeting, use this form. Our official hotel, the Parkway, and all Saturday and Sunday events are located in the Central West End district of St. Louis. You will want to print this map showing these Central West End locations. Our Friday events will be held this year in Duncker Hall at Washington University in St. Louis. Here is a printable campus map highlighting Duncker Hall, on-campus dining locations, the visitor parking lot, and the routes to the Delmar Loop (see below) and back to the Central West End. Also available are descriptions of the on-campus dining options. For off-campus dining, the "Delmar Loop" area is recommended. Here's how to get there, and here are some specific restaurant suggestions, as well as a map showing all the Loop establishments. To get from the Parkway Hotel to Washington University, you may use the hotel's shuttle bus; drive following this driving map; walk along Lindell Blvd. (allow an hour); or take the MetroLink train two stops from the Central West End station near the hotel to the Skinker station near campus. (Be sure to use the blue line.) MetroLink rides cost $2.25; a system map is available here. Note that the MetroLink provides fast and inexpensive transportation to the hotel from the airport as well. Rides back to the Parkway Hotel from campus after our Friday night session will be provided by the hotel shuttle and by Eliot Society members with cars. If you are planning to drive to Wash U, you may park in the Visitor Parking Lot shown on the campus map above. Daily parking passes cost $5. If you'd like one, please let David Chinitz know, and we will then hold one for you at our registration table in Duncker Hall. Unfortunately, you will have to walk to Duncker for your pass and then return to place the pass in your car, so please allow a little extra time. Alternatively, you can stop by at either the office of Parking Services or the Campus Bookstore to purchase a day pass for yourself. |
