Q: How soon do I need to finish the work for an incomplete course?
To eliminate the I grade from your record entirely, you will need to complete the course by the end of the following semester. After that point, the grade your instructor assigns will appear on your transcript as I/letter; e.g., I/A or I/B+. You may complete the course for a "slash" grade up to a year after the I grade was issued.
