Department of Environmental Science
The Department of Environmental Science relies on a dedicated team of teachers and researchers committed to finding solutions to some of today's most pressing environmental challenges. This team includes both faculty within the Department of Environmental Science and faculty from across the University who teach for the Department.
Many of these faculty members collaborate through the University's Center for Urban Environmental Research and Policy (CUERP), a University Center of Excellence that facilitates exchange and collaboration among Loyola's dynamic, interdisciplinary team of faculty committed to research on urban environmental problems and education on environmental issues. CUERP also provides students in the Department of Environmental Science with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in environmental sustainability and environmental research.
