Michael T. Welch, JD

Michael T. Welch is on the faculty at Loyola University Chicago SBA, where he teaches courses in strategic management and the legal environment of business. He also teaches legal issues, strategy and leadership for the Executive Education Department. Before joining the faculty at Loyola, he served as the Vice President—Legal Services for The Quaker Oats Company in Chicago until December 2002. He spent 23 years at Quaker in several legal and managerial roles. Prior to Quaker, he was an associate at the Chicago law firm of Winston and Strawn. Mike leads Loyola's Executive MBA program at Carthage College in Wisconsin.

Mike serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of Conflict Resolution, and is a member of the American Bar Association and the Corporate Counsel Association. He obtained his B.S. in Marketing and his J.D. from the University of Illinois.
