Pan-African Association - The PAA serves as a mutual aid association providing a variety of adjustment and economic services to Chicago's African refugee and immigrant population as wells as serving as a space for Africans to culturally express themselves.
Passages Charter School (Asian Human Services) - Focuses specifically on the needs of immigrant and refugee students through a tailored educational program focused on high academic standards, serving students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. (Community-based FWS site)
Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum - The Nature Museum fosters environmental learning through the exhibits and education programs of the museum and through the Academy's collections, research, publications and events.
PIRG Student Action Network - The PIRG Student Action Network is an association of student advocacy organizations working on some of America's most important issues like global warming, hunger and homelessness, and affordable higher education.
Play for Peace-Chicago - Play for Peace is a global organization, now in its 10th year, which brings together children, youth and organizations from communities in conflict. As part of our community development initiatives, we use play to promote relationships among people whose communities suffer from a history of cross-cultural tensions.
Poder Learning Center - Poder has responded to the educational needs of immigrants in the primarily Latino areas of Pilsen/Little Village and Back of the Yards, on Chicago’s southwest side. In less than ten years, 4,500 students have attended the tuition free classes.
Progress Center for Independent Living - Progress Center is a community-based, non-profit, non residential, service and advocacy organization, operated for people with disabilities by people with disabilities.
Project Vida - Project VIDA was founded to address the urgent needs of racial and ethnic minorities. Initially, the agency provided HIV education through street outreach services to area youth and has since expanded to include direct services for people infected or affected by HIV/AIDS and various prevention education programs.
Providence Family Services - Providence Family Services provides bilingual programs for people living in West Humboldt Park and neighboring areas. Family Services programs include counseling for individuals, couples and families; English as a Second Language classes for adults; computer training; after-school tutoring; parenting classes; and referrals for additional social services.
Public Allies Chicago - Public Allies has built a powerful model for identifying, training and supporting talented and diverse young adults to lead positive community change. Through our programs, young people serve in full-time apprenticeships creating, improving and expanding services at local nonprofit organizations, and participate in a rigorous leadership development program.
R.E.S.T. - REST is a homeless services and housing provider for adult men and women whose mission is to work collaboratively to provide safe, quality, permanent and emergency housing options and supportive services to adult men and women who are homeless in Chicago.
Rainbow Hospice and Palliative Care - Rainbow Hospice and Palliative Care is a community-based non-profit hospice that provides comfort and dignity for individuals at the end of their lives and extends that comfort to support bereaved loved ones of Rainbow Hospice patients and the community.
Salud Latina - Salud Latina/Latino's mission is to enable local, regional and national organizations to promote and develop the growth of healthy Latino communities. Salud Latinais a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting organizational development, training administrators, and disseminating culturally competent models of intervention and resource development.
Sankofa Way - Sankofa Way provides leadership, visibility, and training to help people address oppression and injustice in the world. Their mission is to facilitate spiritual growth and emotional healing in people and communities using an interfaith approach.
Sarah's Circle - Sarah's Circle offers daytime supportive services in a welcoming, safe refuge for women who are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless.
Sarah's Inn - Domestic violence services provided by Sarah's Inn are available in English, Spanish, and American Sign Language and include the following: support and education groups, individual counseling and advocacy, legal advocacy, a 24-hour crisis line, abuser intervention services, teen dating violence prevention, and community outreach and education.
Schuler Family Foundation - To coach and prepare high potential yet underrepresented students for matriculation to successful graduation from highly selective colleges and universities.
Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care - Seasons Hospice is a community-based organization with an ongoing mission to find creative solutions which add quality to end-of-life care.
Shanti Foundation for Peace- Their mission is to foster peace, acceptance, and understanding in the everyday interactions of people, through visual, literary, and performing arts programs in schools and communities.
South-East Asia Center – The South-East Asia Center aspires to build bridges of understanding and cooperation amongst all Asian people as well as between peoples of Eastern and Western upbringing, the center works with native-born Americans and immigrants, promoting mutual understanding and cooperation. SPRED (Special Religious Education) - SPRED, a program of the Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago, is a network of services designed to assist persons with developmental disabilities and/or learning problems to become integrated into parish assemblies of worship through the process of education in their faith.
St. Francis Hospital of Evanston - Motivated by a reverence for life and respect for those we serve, we are committed to improving the health and well-being of our community. We promote a climate that empowers all of us to effectively steward our human and financial resources.
St. Gertrude Parish Heart to Heart Program - Provides social services to the elderly, homebound, and homeless residents of Chicago’s Edgewater and Rogers Park neighborhoods.

Teen Living Programs, Inc. - TLP Inc. deliver comprehensive, long-term solutions to youth without homes who strive for self-sufficiency and community connection. Teen Living Programs offers housing, job training, educational support, mental health counseling, holistic health care, and life skills training within a community of professional and passionate support.
Ten Thousand Villages - Ten Thousand Villages is one the largest fair trade organizations in North America, working with more than 100 artisan groups to purchase fine pieces from craftspeople with whom we have longstanding, nurturing relationships, helping to bring dignity to their lives.
Test Positive Aware Network (TPAN) - TPAN empowers people living with HIV through peer-led programming, support services, information dissemination, and advocacy. They also provide services to the broader community to increase HIV knowledge and sensitivity, and to reduce the risk of infection.

The Admiral at the Lake - The Admiral at the Lake is a continuing care retirement community. While our building is currently closed because we are rebuilding, we have about 100 residents ranging from active and independent seniors to those who need skilled nursing care living in nine different north side retirement homes who can still benefit from your companionship.
