| *An academic internship is an internship experience that is connected to an academic course in the student intern's major or an area of interest. The course instructor (who serves as the intern's faculty supervisor) evaluates the intern's learning throughout the internship and assigns him/her credit (and a grade) for that learning. In order to receive academic credit, you will also need to register for an internship course prior to the beginning of the semester, with approval from the internship course instructor. All academic internship courses/sections are designated as such in LOCUS, and can be searched for by using the "Search for Classes" function. |
