The top picture is a drawing of the castle of Releghem published in 1694. The Van Der Nath coat of arms can be seen in the upper left hand corner, and the imperial double eagle in its center signifies the status of Count of the Empire. Through the centuries the castle has undergone great changes. The bottom picture, with a view from the other side of the castle, is the castle as it appear today.
