Enter lower-case "r" and "y" from keyboard to rock and brighten display..

Toggle As and S buttons to identify atoms.

Check Bonds button.

Open View window and select View 2, and then View 3 - to display model from different perspectives.

VIEW 3 is the most informative display. It shows how bonded atoms are arranged in layers, or two-dimensional sheets. VIEWS 1 and 2 display the layers viewed edge-on.

Note (in VIEWS 1 and 2) how layers are independent and separated from each other.
