Biology (Bio. 304)


    The analysis of developmental processes such as oogenesis, spermatogenesis, fertilization, embryonic cleavage, cell determination and differentiation in selected species. Emphasis will be on experiments that reveal how these processes are controlled. (3 credit hrs., Prereq.: Bio. 251, passed with a grade of C or better)

    1) Click on a button bar to see the movies, pictures and animations related to each series of lectures. Movies are in Quicktime format and some of the animations are in Shockwave Flash format.

    2) On Campus: Movies are in Quicktime format and some of the animations are in Shockwave Player and Flash format. The computers on campus should be able to play these movies and animations. If not, ask the person in charge to install the Quicktime Plug-in and Shockwave Flash Plug-in on the Loyola computer.

    3) At Home: You may need to install the Quicktime Plug-in and Flash Player and Shockwave Player to see these movies and animations.
