Biology (Bio. 405)

    An advanced course in modern developmental biology covering such topics as; cell-cell interactions, the role of growth factors, regulation of pattern formation, cell lineage analysis, in mammalian and non-mammalian embryos. Emphasis will be on experimental approaches to each topic. Readings from current journal articles will be required for all lectures. This course is open to undergraduates with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better, Prereq. 304. and the permission of the Biology Chairperson and the Graduate School. (3 credit hrs.)
