As learning technologies coordinator, Sarah works with faculty and staff to assist in exploring, applying, and evaluating technological solutions as a means to enhance the academic experience and improve learning for students.  This includes sharing best practices for the use of technology in education by consulting in both group and one-on-one environments.

Sarah comes from the University of Michigan, where she received her Master of Arts in Learning Technologies.  At Michigan, she worked with staff at the School of Dentistry to help discover, implement, and evaluate different technologies to enhance students' learning opportunities.  Her work included the formative and summative evaluation of the School's implementation of a system for podcasting student lectures via Apple's iTunes U.  Sarah also consulted with dental hygiene faculty to assist with the development of the department's degree completion course, the first online undergraduate course to be offered at the University.
