Loan funds are disbursed to Loyola University Chicago and applied by the Bursar to the student’s University account. Students receive an email to outline the specifics of each disbursement.
If the funds are in excess of the charges, the remaining amount will be refunded by the Bursar to the student (electronically, if the student has a Direct Deposit profile established in Locus). The student may use the excess credit refund to make reimbursement for book purchases or to cover other educational expenses, as needed.
