Each year, first-year students are invited to share their reflections on the First-Year Text in what might be their first college essay. This is an opportunity to engage a piece of written work and relate it to the themes that define a Loyola education.
This is an opportunity for Loyola students to gather as a community of learners. Each year, the Communities in Conversation series of speakers, workshops, films, and discussions focus on a theme from the First-Year Text, and features a variety of individuals connected to the Loyola community.
