First-Year Experience

Rambler Connection Program

Rambler Connection program is designed to support first-year student's transition to Loyola's campus. The program will enhance the first-year experience by connection with campus professionals and fellow peers while building community on campus.

The first year of college is a time of transition for every student. FYE offers a casual, student-run meeting called Transitions, which is available for students who wish to hang out and chat for a bit with one of our upper-class mentors. This discussion groups meet every week for an hour in various locations. First-year students are invited to join Transitions on how to find ways to get connected on campus and talk about issues they may have while adjusting to life at Loyola. Stop in once, or join us every week. It's your choice.   LEARN MORE

Communities in Conversation

This is an opportunity for Loyola students to gather as a community of learners. Each year, the Communities in Conversation series of speakers, workshops, films, and discussions focus on a theme from the First-Year Text, and features a variety of individuals connected to the Loyola community.   LEARN MORE

Parents & Family at Orientation
