    Review Important Parking Safety Tips

Prevent yourself from becoming a victim of crime by reviewing these parking safety tips:

    • Always lock your car and take your keys with you.
    • Close all windows and lock all storage compartments before exiting your vehicle.
    • Do not leave packages and valuables out in the open and visible from outside your car.
    • Do not park in isolated locations or behind obstructions that block your car from view.
    • Choose a parking spot that is well-lit during daylight hours and in the evening.
    • Make a note of where you park your car so you don't forget.
    • When returning to your car, check all sides before entering. Have your keys in hand before you approach the vehicle.
    • Once inside your car, lock all the doors.
    • Be aware of strangers hanging around the parking area.
    • Trust your instincts. Always leave at the first sign of danger. If you're parked on or near campus and need help, call Campus Safety at ext. 44911, or use a campus emergency phone.

Life at Loyola Quote of the Week:

"I love sitting around with Chinese people my age and talking about music, Internet, school, the Olympics, and the future. They're just like me...except they grew up in China, they see the world a different way, but it's still the same world. The more I have a chance to talk with people who are like me, just different, the more I understand how many different ways there are to see the world."
