Academics

The Gannon Center is a locus for teaching and scholarship about women's roles and contributions. Besides the Women's Studies Program—the first ever established at an American Jesuit university—the center hosts the Women and Leadership Archives, research fellowships for Loyola and visiting faculty members, and academic programs designed to promote young women's research and leadership skills.
