Apply for the Faculty Fellowship
All full-time Loyola faculty are eligible to apply. Up to two fellows will be appointed for the Spring Semester each year. Each applicant's chairperson and dean will be asked to endorse formally the application since the Fellowship involves release from teaching duties. Applications are reviewed and ranked by the Center's staff and selected members of the Gannon Center Advisory committee. An award of approximately $6,000 is presented to the designated department(s).

- Submit a single copy of each item:
- Application Form—download application in Word
- Describe the proposed project based on the identified opportunities of the Gannon Fellowship Program. Provide a rationale for your selection; indicate the focus of the project; state the research value of the project; explain the teaching value of the project; describe the significance of the project to Women Studies Scholarship; establish the relationship of the project to women and leadership; provide the specific outcome of the Fellowship Program; indicate the benefit of this Fellowship to your department and University. This description of the project should be no more than four double-spaced typed pages in length.

- Endorsement Forms from the Chairperson, where appropriate, and the Dean supporting your application for the Fellowship.

Applications will be reviewed by the Center's Program Selection Committee. Awards will be announced by April 25, 2008. Proposals will be judged on the criteria stated in item b. Special consideration will be given to the study of women and leadership.
