It may have been election night, but numerous Loyolans came out to support a good cause. Attendees heard a variety of bands and bid on art with proceeds going to help support the Pan African Association. Now in its 14th year, Gannon Reach Out (GRO) been a way for the Gannon Scholars and the larger Loyola community to support our neighbors in Rogers Park. Through GRO this year, the Gannon Scholars provided the women who are part of the Pan African Association women's group with supplies and staples that they need in adjusting to their new life in the United States. The Gannon Scholars also hosted a dinner for the women which included dancing and making friendship bracelets with the women. Stay tuned for details on a coat drive to help provide the women with warm weather gear.
