The worst time to plan for a crisis is when you are in the middle of one! The sudden death of a student, staff member or any other crisis can challenge the resources of even the most equipped schools.

Schools play a critical role in crisis prevention and response, meeting the needs of students, staff, families, and often the local community. PREP a RE training, an evidence-based strategy, is ideal for schools committed to improving and strengthening their school crisis management plans and emergency response. This approach provides training in all of the critical phases of crisis intervention-including prevention, preparedness, intervention, and recovery.

The Center for Catholic School Effectiveness at the School of Education- Loyola University Chicago proudly is presenting PREPaRE-Level Once training. The one-day workshop provides school personnel who work with local community supports and other educators with an understanding of the comprehensive school crisis team and their roles on these teams.

This workshop will benefit Catholic educators at both the elementary and secondary levels by helping them develop strategies and structures to effectively plan for and react to a variety of crisis situations
