Corporate and Foundations relations

The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations serves as the liaison between Loyola University Chicago and the corporate and foundation philanthropic communities. The office seeks to develop relationships that are mutually beneficial to the University and its institutional benefactors.

For more information please contact Angela S. Liegel, director of corporate and foundation relations, at 312.915.6191 or aliegel@luc.edu.

Corporations

The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations builds relationships with corporations seeking to promote their business and advance higher education. Loyola benefits from these relationships through:

  • Philanthropic gifts
  • Research support
  • Sponsorships
  • In-kind contributions

Promoting Loyola's corporate supporters is an important service of the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations. Corporate donors also have access to the following additional resources:

  • Executive programs and continuing education
  • Recruitment of students and alumni
  • Participation in conferences and symposiums
  • Coordination of campus visits

Foundations

The support of private charitable trusts and foundations is of vital importance to Loyola University Chicago. The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations works internally with Loyola faculty and staff to match projects with foundations' interests. The department also provides foundation officers with information about Loyola and access to program directors. Campus visits for foundations can also be arranged through the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations at 312.915.6191.

Matching gift opportunities

Companies with matching gift programs may contact Abby Koepfle, annual giving officer, to designate a Loyola corporate agent. Corporate agents help facilitate matching gifts for all Loyola alumni employed by the organization. Abby may be reached at 312.915.7284 or akoepfle@luc.edu.

Partner Campaign Completed

Over 50,000 donors helped us surpass the $500 million goal of Partner: The Campaign for the Future of Loyola, which ended on June 11, 2011. The campaign raised over $530 million and finished two years ahead of schedule. This is a transformative achievement for Loyola. Thank you!
