Founders' Circle

In 1540, three college roommates at the University of Paris founded the Society of Jesus: Ignatius of Loyola, Francis Xavier, and Peter Faber. This was the inception of a Jesuit heritage that lives on today.

Loyola University Chicago honors those benefactors whose lifelong commitment and unparalleled generosity make it possible for our institution to carry on the work and mission of St. Ignatius of Loyola.

We welcome those who have given $100,000 dollars or more over the course of their lifetime into the Founders' Circle.

Members are recognized at the following levels:

Ignatius Loyola Society $1 million or more
Francis Xavier Society $500,000 - $999,999
Peter Faber Society $100,000 - $499,999

It is this generous support of Loyola that makes a crucial difference in our ability to continue providing academic excellence to thousands of students.

Partner Campaign Completed

Over 50,000 donors helped us surpass the $500 million goal of Partner: The Campaign for the Future of Loyola, which ended on June 11, 2011. The campaign raised over $530 million and finished two years ahead of schedule. This is a transformative achievement for Loyola. Thank you!
