Applications to the Graduate School are self-managed in order to assure that your application will be reviewed as quickly as possible. Since you have chosen to apply online, much of the information you submit will be sent to us electronically. However, not all information can be submitted electronically. You will need to send one envelope of supporting credentials to Loyola University Chicago in order for your application to be considered complete.
Before you fill out the online application, please read the following instructions. There are four pages of information for you to read, including this one. You should print the page that includes the address for the envelope of supporting documentation.

| One set of official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended | These must be submitted by mail. Print out the Request for Transcript form contained in the online application to give to the institutions you attended. | |
| Three letters of recommendation | Either online or mail. Your recommenders may send their letters online if they so choose and if you provide us with their e-mail addresses (See instructions on the Letter of Recommendation form.) If your recommenders choose not to respond online, print the form and give it to the recommender. | |

· Standardized test scores as required by the program to which you are applying. · TOEFL or IELTS scores are required from international applicants. |
Standardized test scores are received by Loyola directly from the testing agency at your request. Our institutional number is 1412. If you wish to self-report these scores, you may. However, a final admission decision requires that we receive an official score from the testing service. | |
| For international students, a Declaration and Certification of Finances Form is required. | International Students should print out the Declaration and Certification of Finances Form and send it with all requested supporting documentation to: The Office for International Programs, Loyola University Chicago, 6525 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago, IL 60626-5311. | |
| International transcripts: International students are required to submit non-U.S. transcripts to an outside credential evaluation service. |
Go to www.ece.org or www.wes.org for information about this service and to download an application. In addition to the evaluation, which will be sent to Loyola directly from the credential service, you must send one set of transcripts/mark sheets to the following address: Graduate Enrollment Management International applicants to the Graduate School must request the general evaluation from Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc. or course-by-course analysis from World Education Services. | |
| Some programs require a research paper, a c.v. or resume. | These must be submitted by mail. If your program requires one of these items, include it in the envelope with your transcripts. | |
