Matthew T. Logelin wins the Damen Award at the 2015 Founders' Dinner

Matthew Logelin (MA '02) is an author, blogger, public speaker, and founder of the Liz Logelin Foundation. In March 2008, he lost his wife, Elizabeth, to a pulmonary embolism 27 hours after she gave birth to their first child, Madeline. He went on to chronicle his family's story on his blog and first book, Two Kisses for Maddie: A Memoir of Loss & Love, which spent seven weeks on the New York Times Best Seller List.

Weekend of Excellence: Christopher Martinez

A former Fulbright Scholar who grew up in Chile, Christopher Martinez came to Loyola to get his PhD. “I was attracted to Loyola by its focus on students and their research,” he says. “And of course, reading a book along the shores of Lake Michigan is pretty nice too.”  

RMP Research Projects Now Available for Viewing

Undergraduates must be available to work this summer, and interested in attending graduate school to participate. After viewing the available projects, head over to the LUROP application portal to apply for the program.  

Graduate Student Progress System (GSPS)

Need to submit a form to the Grad School? The Graduate Student Progress System (GSPS) is open to students and GPDs for regular submission of forms, such as the thesis & dissertation proposal, among many others.  

Dissertation and Thesis Support Group

Completing research projects is difficult work—but you do not have to be in it alone! Come to the Wellness Center for support and encouragement while you finish your research.
