M.B.A. Concentration in Sports Management
The M.B.A. with a concentration in Sport Management was launched in Fall 2006. Four graduate courses have been developed in Sport Management, and M.B.A. students must take three of the following courses to complete the concentration:
SPRT 530. Managing Sport Organizations
SPRT 531. Sport Sponsorship and Retention
SPRT 532. Sport Law
SPRT 534. International Sport Management
The M.B.A. with a Sport Management concentration prepares students for management careers in the sport industry in athletic and sports clubs, intercollegiate athletics, professional, semi-professional and amateur sports, event management, equipment merchandising, sport sponsorship, sport marketing and sport consulting.
