Graduate Scholars Program

A Graduate Scholar is a full-time GSB student who dedicates 20 hours per week to the GSB, working in such areas as research; Web development; faculty, office or project support; student programming; or the planning and implementation of GSB admission and orientation activities.

Required qualifications: The Graduate Scholars Program is designed to help students who have a strong academic and career/job-related background. Although a strong GPA and high GMAT scores are essential, each Graduate Scholar position has specific needs which determine the qualifications for that position.

Individual staff and faculty members hire for these positions and, therefore, determine the qualifications necessary to meet their particular needs. Students must be available to work 20 hours per week, with additional time spent on some supporting projects. Only full-time students are considered for the program.

Availability: Graduate Scholar positions are very limited. Depending on the term, anywhere from two to 10 students are selected as Graduate Scholars. This is a non-renewable scholarship.

Benefits: Graduate Scholars are eligible for some tuition support and possibly a stipend, depending on the department to which the scholar is assigned. Graduate Scholars also have many opportunities to interact with new and current students, as well as the faculty and staff of the GSB.

How to apply: Only admitted students are eligible to apply. After being admitted, students should complete an online application to the program before beginning their courses. Some scholarships are awarded only to incoming students.
