HRER 453: Incentive Pay Programs
Course Description
Based on an understanding of motivation theory and the fundamental elements of incentives pay, students will learn how to design and administer effective individual and group incentive pay plan that include sales incentives, bonuses, gainsharing, executive pay, merit pay, stock options, profit sharing and employee ownership programs. Students will have an opportunity to apply what they learn by evaluating incentive programs in actual companies.
