Course Description
An overview of the recruitment and selection processes involved in staffing organizations beginning with the strategic human resources plan and job analysis methods, then through recruitment principles; assessment of candidates and the placement of those who are selected. Topics covered include: recruitment methods; realistic job previews; selection techniques--especially interviewing; legal and strategic issues in staffing; reliability and validity of selection techniques; assessment centers, honesty and ability testing; and computer-generated reports.
