HRER 493: Collective Bargaining
Course Description
This course provides a theoretical and practical analysis of the field of negotiations and collective bargaining within the framework of the U.S. free enterprise system. The course focuses on the relationships of the participants. The process is analyzed and simulation bargaining experience is carried out, including the resolution of an impasse at the Offices of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service. Law and NLRB decisions, where applicable, are analyzed, although bargaining relationships are stressed.
