Applying for the Certificate in Health Law
Here's how to get started.
- Download an application form.
- Meet with the health law faculty member of your choice to plan your curriculum during the second semester of your first year. (E-mail a professor directly to make an appointment.)
- As your tenure at Loyola progresses, track your courses and grades on the application form.
- At the beginning of the school year in which you plan to graduate, complete the sections on Practical Experience and Extracurricular Activities and bring the form to the Office Coordinator at the Beazley Institute for Health Law. S/he will certify that you've met the extracurricular and experiential requirements for the certificate.
- Then bring the form to the same faculty member you went to for curricular counseling for an exit interview and have him/her sign your form.
- Finally, bring your completed and signed form with you to your graduation interview with the Registrar. S/he will confirm all of your course work and certify you for the certificate.
- This is an example of what the certificate will look like.
- Email us at the Beazley Institute at health-law@luc.edu if you have any questions about the health law certificate.
