Megan Bess
Assistant Director

Megan Bess is the Assistant Director of the Beazley Institute and is responsible for developing and coordinating student and community programs. Megan assists in health law curriculum development and course scheduling and serves as the advisor for the Health Law Society. Megan is responsible for developing Institute strategies for marketing, community relations, and alumni relations. Megan also handles placement for the health law externship program.

Prior to joining the Beazley Institute staff, Ms. Bess worked as an associate attorney in the Litigation Department at Winston & Strawn. Ms. Bess received a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Vanderbilt University Law School where she was the Executive Managing Editor of the Journal of Transnational Law. Ms. Bess also holds a degree in Marketing and Business Management from the University of Arizona. Ms. Bess serves as the Marketing Chair for the Youth Guidance Metro Board, which funds social programs for at-risk youth in Chicago public schools.
