MEDICAL LIABILITY AND THE ILLINOIS CIVIL JUSTICE SYSTEM:
A REVIEW OF OPTIONS

Please join the Beazley Institute for an event that promises a lively discussion of key medical liability issues in Illinois and across the country, including no-fault insurance and health courts. Joining us for the event are speakers Jeffrey O'Connell of the University of Virginia School of Law and Kevin Conway of Cooney & Conway, who will speak to the topic of no-fault insurance.  Paul Barringer of Common Good will be joined by Joanne Doroshow of the Center for Justice and Democracy to speak on the topic of Health Courts.  Tim McDonald of the University of Illinois Medical Center will talk about health care error disclosure.  Philip Corboy, Jr. of Corboy & Demetrio, P.C., Robert Clifford of Clifford Law Offices, James Stamos of Stamos & Trucco and Richard King of the Illinois State Medical Society make up our response panel.  And Madison County Judge Barbara Crowder along with Cook County Judge William Maddux will lead us in a lunch lecture.  Download an agenda here.
