Health Law Fellowships for J.D. Students
The health law fellowship program is near and dear to the hearts of our faculty. Each year we select up to eight individuals who we believe demonstrate the potential to be both leaders within the School as well as outstanding health lawyers in their careers. Fellows are provided with a one-time tuition remittance of $2500 during their first year of study. Fellows also are enrolled in the specialized health law legal writing section in their first year of law school, and invited to occasional meetings with the faculty. During the second and third year of law school, fellows are asked to serve as ambassadors for the health law program, attending various Institute conferences, as well as applying to serve on the Annals of Health Law, among other activities. Most fellows find that the contacts that they make with faculty and practitioners during their time at Loyola are an invaluable benefit to starting their legal careers.
