MJ Virtual Information Sessions
Our Next Virtual Information Session will cover the Red Flag Rules
In November of 2007, The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the federal bank regulatory agencies, and the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) issued a set of three different but related regulations requiring certain entities to implement an identity theft prevention and detection program. The term "red flag" means a pattern, practice, or specific activity that could indicate the possible existence of identity theft. Professor Barbara Youngberg will be online to discuss the legal implications of these regulations on health care organizations and providers. She will be joined by Kelley Yaccino who will talk about the MJ program itself, the application process and answer any questions you might have.
