Loyola to Host Midwest Latin American History Conference

Loyola University is pleased to host the Midwest Latin American History Conference on January 26, 2013. The conference revives a tradition in which Chicago-area universities invite faculty and graduates students from the upper Midwest for a one-day, multi-apnel academic discussion of all themes related to Latin American History.


The conference will feature a keynote presentation by Dr. Jerry Davila, the Jorge Paulo Lemann Professor of History at the University of Illinois and winner of the Brazil Section of the Latin American Studies Association Brazil Section Book Prize (2012).


The conference will convene in the Klarchek information Commons on Loyola University's Lake Shore Campus from 8:30-5:45 on January 26,2013. Please register on the 4th floor.
