Living and Learning Community
- First year Honors students live in Campion Hall where they build a strong community, and enjoy intellectual and social interaction.
- All honors students are automatically members of the Honors Student Association. As a recognized student organization, the HSA plans social and service activities. HSA is eligible to apply for student activity funds.
- Faculty organize lectures, study groups and cultural events at Chicago's cultural institutions, such as the Art Institute, the Chicago Opera Theatre, the Lyric Opera and the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre.
- Faculty plan social events to foster the intellectual community.
- Students elect officers and representatives to the Honors Council. Any member of the Honors Program in good standing (whose cumulative G.P.A. is 3.3 or higher) may run for office.
