EMERGE

 
EMERGE is a series of training programs offered by the Training & Development department to enhance your personal and professional development.

Enrollment for EMERGE is available through Loyola Marketplace, an easy to use system that contains full program descriptions, dates and locations. EMERGE programs are offered at no cost to the participant. Please read the course descriptions for the target audience and any pre-class assignment.

New Leader Training Program

The New Leader Training Program is strongly encouraged for newly hired/promoted faculty or staff members.  This training program will introduce you to the most current and successful leadership practices and information.  The program will be conducted by subject matter experts representing finance, purchasing, information technology, printing services, catering services and human resources.

Loyola 101

Loyola 101 is the new employee orientation program. All new employees will be scheduled to attend this important orientation, which will introduce you to Loyola’s history, mission, culture and policies.  Please click here for more information on new employee resources.

 

ITS Training Central

Information Technology Services Training Central offers computer workshops for the Loyola University community in a variety of administrative software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) at no charge to faculty and staff throughout the year.  For the current training schedule, please click here.

Service Day

Employees and retirees are encouraged to participate in a half day community service project followed by our traditional annual picnic, in late July.  This event celebrates the feast day of St. Ignatius and honors your service and contributions to Loyola.
