Inside Government is a non-partisan organization that provides an inside view of government to those who have an interest in learning more about federal, state and municipal government operations and the public sector in general. It helps to highlight career and internship opportunities in the public sector, and connect interested students with Loyola alumni who are already working in the public sector.
Every two weeks Inside Government hosts speakers from the federal, state, and city government. Students can also attend various events, join Loyola administration at a lobby day for Loyola in Springfield, shadow officials in Chicago, and gain access to internship opportunities.
To become a member students must attend at least 4 of 6 meetings in a single semester. Once a member, students can attend our annual trip to Springfield and gain access to special events, internships and other opportunities.
