Watch Our Rome Center Video!Rome Start gives select students the opportunity to spend the first year of their Loyola experience studying at our John Felice Rome Center in Italy. The program is open to students currently attending high school outside of the United States.

Admission to the Rome Start program includes admission to Loyola University Chicago. After spending a year at the Rome Center, students will complete their degree program in Chicago. This unique program allows students to gain a global perspective to their education while receiving a renowned Loyola degree.

WHY ROME START?

Rome Start is a unique program designed specifically for students attending high Watch Our International Student Video!schools outside of the United States who wish to earn a Loyola degree. As a Loyola student, you'll prepare for a successful personal and professional life, forming lifelong friendships while developing a worldwide network of trusted associates.

Starting out at Loyola's John Felice Rome Center, you’ll immerse yourself in challenging and interesting coursework covering the natural sciences, humanities, fine arts, business, and more. You’ll also have a chance to experience other cultures as you connect with classmates from around the globe and prepare to transition to Chicago to complete your degree.
