Daniel Gast

Director, Project INSPIRE

Dan joined the IPS Faculty in 2004 when he became Director of INSPIRE (Identify, Nurture and Sustain the Pastoral Imagination through Resources
for Excellence), which focuses on pastoral leadership teams in selected Archdiocese of Chicago parishes. As an IPS Adjunct instructor, Dan teaches courses in pastoral leadership and religious education/catechesis.  Dan is co-author of a course book on pastoral leadership and organization at Loyola Institute for Ministry, Loyola University of New Orleans. He previously served at a catechetical publisher, as a diocesan Director of Religious Education (DRE), and as a parish DRE. He is U.S. co-facilitator of Crossing Over, a pastoral exchange and learning program at the University of Bochum, Germany.
