Learning Portfolio

Portfolio based learning and assessment is a powerful and practical discipline for today’s learners. By participating in a portfolio process, MARE students will experience the benefits and challenges of the tool  and learn to leverage its application as a professional and ministerial resource.

Portfolios today are used in a variety of professions. In the Catholic Church, dioceses that establish certification programs for Lay Ecclesial Ministers often require that candidates for certification compile and maintain professional portfolios prior to initial certification and update them for regular certification renewals.
