Master of Arts in Spirituality/Spiritual Direction (M.A.)

Integrating theology, spirituality and psychology, this M.A. program focuses on Christian spirituality as a challenging resource for meaningful and healthy living in the face of suffering and adversity. Students deepen their own spiritual understanding and their awareness of the resources within the Christian tradition. They develop critical and empathetic capacities and excellent discernment skills important to genuine spiritual growth.

The program offers two tracks: spiritual direction (track I) and contemporary spirituality (track II). Track I educates, provides credentials and shapes career paths in the ministries of prayer, spiritual direction and retreats. Track II educates people who wish to develop substantial spiritual understanding within their personal lives and/or their secular vocations.
