How Loyola's Move to Exchange Affected Your GroupWise Mail Archive

As part of Loyola's recent email migration, two years of archived messages (those dated on or after May 31, 2011) were moved automatically to Microsoft Outlook.

Older archived messages (those dated on or before March 30, 2011) were available by request but the deadline to make a request has now passed. Most of those who requested older archives have received these files, though the process is still ongoing for a few users. If you requested older archives, you will receive an email with instructions when yours have been completed.

The automatically migrated portion of your archive (i.e., the last two years' worth) appears as a folder in your mailbox, called Archive (see below). Any subfolders you have as part of this archive will be preserved. You can read, reply to, delete, or reorganize these messages from within the main Outlook window. If you've also requested older portions of your archives, these will appear in a separate section below your list of folders called "Archive-Loyola" (see picture below). Any subfolders you have as part of this archive will be preserved, as well. You can read, reply to, delete, or reorganize these messages from within the main Outlook window.
