HSD Moves to Microsoft Exchange
Migration Bringing New Email and Collaboration Tools
On Friday, March 28, 2014, Loyola will begin upgrading the Health Sciences Division’s email system, moving from GroupWise to Microsoft Exchange. Your new email account will be live within a few hours, with nearly all functionality in place by Monday, March 31, 2014.
The change in platforms will allow HSD to take advantage of anytime, anywhere communication and provide for more collaborative interactions via email, messaging, conferencing, and other tools.
|||EMAIL. As part of the upgrade, HSD will begin using Microsoft Outlook to send and receive email messages, schedule meetings, and manage contacts and tasks. Learn more >
|||IM, CONFERENCING, COLLABORATION. As part of the upgrade, HSD will gain access to Microsoft Lync, a unified communications service that provides instant messaging along with web, voice, and video conferencing. Learn more>|
