  • Next Steps:
    Continue with final phase, the implementation of housing self-assign.
     

March 2010

  • Completed first two phases of project.
  • All student contracts are now online through the RMS web.
  • Upay site was added for online credit card deposits.
  • Next Steps:
    Continue with Phase 3 (Prof/Grad/New Grad online housing contracts) & phase 4 (implementation of housing self-assign, Feb 2011) of project.

December 2009

  • Completed requirement gathering document.
  • Established target implementation dates.
  • Configured application and database to test Web module.
  • Next Steps:
    Complete LDAP interface with NextStop Portal. Move configuration to production to allow incoming freshmen and transfer students to complete applications via RMS Web.

  • Held project kick-off meeting on August 7th.
  • Next Steps:
    (1) Complete requirement gathering documents, (2) Establish target implementation dates.

  • Meeting with client monthly with clients.
  • Met with Marquette University to review how they implemented the web portion of RMS; RMS was on site for three days to train and assist in the set-up of the web portion.
  • Next Steps:
    ResLife staff to complete setup in development environment and do testing.

March 2009

  • Meeting with client monthly to aid in documentation of their business process flows.
  • Next Steps:
    Client to complete documentation on process flows in preparation of RMS vendor coming on-site 4/14-4/16/2009 to set up web component.

November 2008

  • Project has been reactivated; ResLife and ITS holding planning meetings to identify objectives and goals.
  • ResLife and ITS Management team met with Marquette University to discuss implementation and strategies.
  • Next Steps:
    (1) Assign Project Manager, (2) Complete business process documentation to be used by vendor for implementation, (3) Bring in RMS for three-day set-up sessions.
