  • Upgraded wireless infrastructure in the Information Commons to most current offerings (802.11n)
  • Next Steps:
    (1) Student Development has identified Georgetown and Fiarfield as the next residence halls to be added to the wireless network. (2) Obtain necessary quotes and begin installation process.

  • Deploy new high-speed access standard (802.11N) to Compion and Creighton Halls.
  • Next Steps:
    (1) Upgrade IC access points to 802.11N standard; (2) Work with Student Development to determine which remaining residence halls will be added to the wireless network.

  • Finalizing activation plan for remaining academic buildings: Scheduling wireless implementation for Campion and possibly Georgetown depending on available funds.

    (1) Deploy new 802.11 access to various buildings; Bring online new buildings as scheduled.

    (1) Develop budget and timeline for Campion Hall and Lewis Towers as the next buildings.

  • It is intended that Flanner Hall and Life Sciences are completed by the start of the Fall semester. The capital for Simpson Living Learning Center has just been submitted.
