Research Services - Data Sources
The Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) is part of the Institute for Social Research (ISR) at the University of Michigan. ICPSR is a valuable resource for students in the social sciences, education, health sciences, and business. ICPSR maintains and provides access to a vast archive of social science data for research and instruction. ICPSR also offers training in quantitative methods. Loyola University Chicago participates in the ICPSR Direct program. With ICPSR Direct Loyola students, faculty, and staff may download non-public as well as public datasets directly from any any computer located in the Loyola open-access computing labs or from any Loyola faculty/staff desktop. For instructions on downloading files go to the ICPSR Data Use Tutorial.
