Video Contest
Submit a 3-5 minute video production bringing to life the Loyola University Chicago Student Promise. Creatively find a way to capture the spirit and the voice of the student body on the topic of The Student Promise.

Why Participate?

Contest Rules
- All entries must be on Mini DV or DVD. All footage must be of reasonably high resolution. Do not send files compressed for web use.
- Each applicant must also submit a signed entry form which includes a consent form. Link here
- The deadline for entries is March 14, 2008. Late entries will not be accepted.
- You must be 18 or older and a Loyola University Chicago student (defined as any person who is admitted and deposited, enrolled or registered for study at LUC for any academic period. See page 8 of the Student Handbook for more information) in order to participate in the contest.
- The winner for the Student Promise Video Contest will be announced on our website www.luc.edu/thestudentpromise the week of March 23rd. The winners will also be notified by email and telephone.
- Your video entry will be the property of Loyola University Chicago.
- The time of video must be between 3-5 minutes.

Entry Form and Video Application Information
Your submission to the Student Promise Video Contest will only be considered if the following are submitted by March 14, 2008:
- A signed entry form.
- A video production that highlights what The Student Promise is about and what it means to students. The exact content of the video is up to you, but the best (see criteria section) video that captures the spirit and the message of the promise will win.
Judging Criteria
Judges will be looking for creativity, video production, editing quality, originality and overall excellence in bringing to life The Student Promise.
Prize Package
All entries will compete for an electronics prize package worth ($1000). The package is set to include a HD camcorder of high quality and accessories. Details of prize package are subject to change but the value will remain at $1000. Specific prize details will be released when the winner is announced.
