Learning specialists are provide students with strategies for collegiate success. These staff members have had special training and experience in learning techniques and strategies. Meeting with a learning specialist can help you find ways to study more effectively for the classes in which you are having difficulty. Senior Learning Specialist
M.A. in Counselor Education, The University of Iowa
B.S in Psychology, The University of Iowa
Deanne is the senior learning specialist and academic coordinator of the Learning Enrichment for Academic Progress (LEAP) Program. She takes private appointments on topics such as test anxiety, motivation and reading comprehension.

B.A. in Psychology, Barat College
Lili has 15 years of experience working with college students. A learning disabilities specialist by training, Lili specializes in working with students with complex needs.

JENNIFER RIGOR
Learning Specialist

B.S. in Biology and Physical Science, Illinois State University
Jennifer has spent 11 years in public education where she taught high school biology, chemistry, physical science, and astronomy and served as the departmental reading specialist liaison. Jennifer's diverse experience is a valuable asset to Loyola students as the science learning specialist.
