Graduate Programs: M.J. Degree in Business and Corporate Governance Law
Structure of Program
M.J. degree candidates must complete 19 hours of coursework and a 3-credit thesis paper. The program is structured to permit evening study by working professionals and should be completed in two years. The curriculum is offered on a part-time basis only. M.J. students begin their program of study with a six-week summer course (beginning in July) in which they are introduced to the legal system, techniques of legal analysis and business law. Courses in the M.J. program are not transferrable to the J.D. degree. M.J. students who wish to attend the J.D. program at Loyola must apply separately for that program.
