Registration Information: Notice for First-Year Students
First Year Students
First-year students must register by LOCUS for their spring semester courses.
All Full-Time 1L students must register for Constitutional Law, Contracts, Criminal Law, and Legal Writing II in the same section (1 or 2 or 3) to which they are currently assigned. All Full-Time 1L students also must register for ONE of the electives available to first year students. These electives are designated Perspective Elective (PER ELEC). First-year students may not register for any other classes.
Part-time 1Ls must register for their new courses, Contracts, Criminal Law, and Legal Writing II in the same section (1 or 2 or 3 or evening) in which they are currently assigned. In addition, 1Ls must register for Legal Writing II (the second semester for the Legal Writing experience) in the same small section in which they are currently assigned. Part-time 1Ls may NOT register for Perspective Elective (PER ELEC) courses.
