Loyola University Chicago is committed to providing reliable, secured and equitable access to and use of its computing, networking, telephone and information resources. These resources are intended for the use of Loyola students, faculty, staff, administrators, and authorized guests in support of the university's missions of education, research, patient care, and community service.
Student responsibilities as they relate to technology resources are described in several university policies that detail what constitutes acceptable use of university computing, networking and information resources. These documents are available from the Loyola Web pages or in hardcopy at campus computing centers. Students are expected to familiarize themselves with and abide by these policies. Access and use of university computing resources implies that the student knows of and is in compliance with all policies that govern that access and use.
